UPDATED 10:25 a.m.

Police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man who was found shot multiple times inside his vehicle in South Richmond Hill on Tuesday morning.

At 3:20 a.m. on Dec. 19, officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a male shot while sitting inside of a vehicle in front of a home on 125th Street near 95th Avenue, across the street from Phil Rizzuto Park.

Upon their arrival, authorities said, cops found 21-year-old Dail Ramessar sitting in the driver’s seat of the car, unconscious and unresponsive, with gunshot wounds to the chest.

Paramedics transported Ramessar to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On Dec. 16, a Queens Village man was shot in his car in the early morning hours. According to police, at this time, there is no connection between the two cases.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
