Authorities stand outside a Myrtle Avenue building where a baby fell from a second-story window on April 18.

Police received a frightening call on Wednesday when a baby fell from a window in Glendale.

Authorities said at approximately 2:08 p.m. on April 18 it was reported that a 2-year-old female victim fell from a second-story window on Myrtle Avenue near 81st Road.

According to police, the baby landed in a bush below the window, breaking her fall.

Officials from the FDNY and officers from the 104th Precinct responded to the scene.

While the baby did not sustain any obvious injuries, she was transported to New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and authorities said there are no details available about the nature of the fall at this time.
