Science rules! Bill Nye will be having a book signing for “Lost in the Jungle,” part of a series of children’s books that he co-wrote with author Greg Moone.

The signing will take place on Wednesday, May 2, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Book Culture, located at 26-09 Jackson Ave. in Long Island City.

“Lost in the Jungle” is the third and last installment of Nye’s “Jack and the Genius” series, which follows Jack and his genius siblings, Ava and Matt, on their adventures. This time, Jack and his siblings must find Henry “Hank” Witherspoon, an inventor who went missing in the Amazon. The book includes a glossary of science terms and an experiment that children can do at home.

Nye, 62, gained fame during the 1990s for his beloved children’s show “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” which explored scientific topics featuring quirky humor and fast-paced action. He’s back on television with the Netflix show “Bill Nye Saves the World,” which focuses on science and its role in society while exploring issues including climate change.

Tickets to the event can be found at BrownPaperTickets.com. The cost of one ticket is $13.99 ($16.71 with service fees and tax), and includes a signed copy of a “Jack and the Geniuses” book of your choice. The authors will sign up to three books per person, but signing of memorabilia or other materials is prohibited.
