It is that time of year again! Whenever the New Year shows us its face, we start to project its future, reflect on the past, and sometimes, think too little about the present. As I have written in this column before, it is disturbing to me that whenever young children display negative behavior, trying to get whatever attention they can, many adults are too afraid (or disinterested), to try to address the situation.
There is still hope for many of them if they can be properly directed.
I am happy to say that students at PS 156, in Laurelton, seem to me to be well supported by most parents, Principal Winston Jorif, former Assistant Principal Sheila Braun, (now in the district office), and all the rest of the staff.
