The Anti-Defamation League is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the successful prosecution of those responsible for plastering hate stickers on public property throughout sections of northeast Queens during the past few months.
In a related development, Whitestone civic leader Tony Avella, who since last summer has waged a public campaign against the anti-black and anti-immigrant stickers, has received some anonymous racist phone calls criticizing his efforts.
