Colden Center for the Performing Arts

One of the major cultural institutions in Queens for more than 35 years, Colden Center for the Performing Arts houses Colden Auditorium, LeFrak Concert Hall and Goldstein Theatre. Although on the Queens College campus, Colden Center is a self-supporting institution that brings classical, pop and jazz concerts as well as family and children's performances to more than 300,000 people each year. Free parking available for most events. Classical and jazz concert tickets range from $20 to $25; $8 for children and family performances. Season subscriptions also available at a discounted price.
Flushing Town Hall

Town Hall is home to a variety of cultural events sponsored by the Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts. A New York City national landmark building, Town Hall has two exhibition galleries, a visitors' center and a jazz cafe. Free parking behind the building for all events. Queens Symphony Orchestra

The orchestra, which presents a series of concerts throughout the borough, offers free concerts for young people, an in-school music education program, the Young Soloist Competition, the Youth Gospel Choir and free open rehearsals. The orchestra is in season from September to May and reaches nearly 50,000 people annually.
