Take a trolley around boro’s Culture Loop

By The TimesLedger

Beginning Sunday Dec. 2 and continuing every Sunday thereafter, you can take a trip to the past as well as to the future on Flushing Town Hall’s new trolley, stopping at an array of cultural and historic sites along the way. The service operates every Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m., and is free.

Beginning at Flushing Town Hall, 137-35 Northern Blvd., the bright, red and green vehicle makes stops at the Latimer House, Kingsland Homestead, Bowne House, the No. 7 train station at Main and Roosevelt, then on to the main gate of the Queens Botanical Garden. The Garden is then the transfer point to all the institutions in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, via a separate trolley operated by the city Parks and Recreation Department, making stops at the Queens Museum, New York Hall of Science, Queens Theatre in the Park and the Queens Zoo.

For more information about this and other offerings at Flushing Town hall, call 718 463-7700, Ext. 222.
