FLUSHING — A 14-year-old boy was struck by a 2002 Ford Expedition SUV and critically injured as he crossed 39th Avenue at Main Street, police said.

The boy, whose name was not released, was taken to the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in Flushing, police said.

The driver of the SUV, Lavonne Cooke, 44, of 3 Elm St. in Wyandanch, N.Y., was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license, police said.

.Cooke was making a right onto 39th Avenue from the northbound lane of Main Street when she hit the boy, police said.
