CHRISTIAN, JAMES T., 69, plant manager for Rockwell International for 18 years and Alcoa for nine years, and owner of Dudie’s Diner and Jim’s Shrimp and Oyster Bar, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at his home. Services were held Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home in Verona with burial in Lee Memorial Park there. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. He was an Army veteran, member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Southaven, Mason and Shriner. Mr. Christian, the husband of Marianne Bennett Christian for 47 years, also leaves two daughters, Karin Christian Randolph and Kelly Christian Romito, and a son, James T. Christian Jr., all of Olive Branch, and seven grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.
