We’re Changing To Better Serve Our Readers

The Queens Courier has changed the day of the week that we go to press. Beginning with this week’s issue, we will be available on Thursdays and not Wednesdays. This will allow our staff to cover more community events during the week and keep you more informed. Look for us Thursdays in all the usual locations and watch for new ones coming soon.
As we entered the New Year, we resolved to surprise you with a new look. Our new redesign will be implemented in next week’s issue. We will repackage your favorite features in a cleaner, easier to read, package and presentation. Our expanded Classified and Auto sections will debute as a Pullout Part II. Our Entertainment, Listings, Culture and Dining pages will run together in the fresh new looking “What’s The Buzz?” Arts section too.
Last week, as promised, we relaunched our website, queenscourier.com, and invited our readers to check out the new features. As you read this article over 100,000 readers will have called up the site and many have registered, for free, as users.
Everyone from Queens who registers on the site, quick, easy and FREE, will be eligible to win a Grand Prize of $1,000 and other runner-up prizes of gift certificates to Queens restaurants. Entrants must register by April 1 in order to be eligible for the contest. The winners will be announced on the website and in The Queens Courier on April 6th.
