Deadly fire kills well-known resident

An early morning blaze Monday destroyed a three-story home on Revere Avenue, but also left a tremendous void in the community, claiming the life of John Pye, a well-known resident, a regular at the Crosstown Diner near his home and the former longtime owner of P & P Builders Supply.
