NutriSource Inc., a full-scale nutrition company located in Bay Terrace, is offering their services to four of the six contestants in The Queens Courier’s 2006 Queens Biggest Losers Contest. NutriSource provides state-of- the-art nutrition services in a private setting for a variety of health and fitness needs.
Medical Nutrition Therapy, wellness plans and lifestyle coaching are central to the philosophy of NutriSource founder, Nicolette M. Pace. Pace’s unique techniques provide individuals with a holistic approach toward food, nutrition and preventative healthcare and are sure to make a difference in our Queen’s Biggest Loser contestant’s journey to a healthy new life.
“It is very discouraging to see such a rise in weight and nutrition-related health issues,” said Pace. “I am committed to helping people maintain the utmost quality of life.”
Pace’s well-rounded career includes serving as Director of Clinical Nutrition at a local area health care facility, to past owner of a successful catering company that specialized in healthy ethnic and regional cuisines.
“I came from a background in food and cooking so nutrition was really just the next step,” added Pace. “I just want to help people.”
As a faculty member of both Queens College and Touro College she teaches nutrition to doctoral candidates as well as undergraduate nutrition majors. Through her work in direct patient care, administration and teaching, she has helped thousands of people achieve and realize long-lasting health and nutrition benefits.
