It’s A Lifetime Commitment
BY MELISSA HENDRICKS
Bally Total Fitness has graciously offered professional training services to our contestants for twelve weeks during the Queens Biggest Losers Contest. Eduardo Zerwes, personal trainer at the Kew Gardens Bally, is helping Wanda Radetti discover the healthier and happier person within.
“I have Wanda on a weight loss program consisting of resistance training and cardio workouts,” said Zerwes. “A healthy life style starts now and never ends. Fitness is a lifetime commitment.”
Zerwes has dedicated his life to fitness working with personal clients at Bally’s, studying nutrition at Queens College and serving in an officer’s program for the United States Military.
“I really just want to help people achieve their goals and dreams as I have,” added Zerwes. “The trend of obesity and disease in this country has gotten out of hand and people are not getting the exercise and nutrition they need to live long healthy lives.”
Wanda will be working with Zerwes once a week for an hour session but will be receiving invaluable advice on how to work out during her own time.
“I really want to thank The Queens Courier and all the sponsors for bringing out something new in me,” said Wanda. “I’ve been reawakened and I am now conscious of my physical being.”
Since the contest’s inception, Wanda’s weight has fluctuated between 181 lbs and 170 lbs. She is actively turning fat into muscle which weighs more.
“Eduardo is helping me discover strength I never even knew I had,” said Wanda. “My transition is in the embryonic stages but I really feel bombarded with a vision and the dedication to feel good all the time.”
Here at The Courier we would like to thank Zerwes, Bally’s and all our sponsors for helping our contestants reach new levels in their quest for a healthy lifestyle. We wish Wanda and all the participants the best of luck in their journey.
