Richard V. Brew Sr.

Richard V. Brew Sr. passed away recently. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, Korea, the Cuban Crisis and the Naval Reserve. Retired NYPD officer of 33 years. Beloved husband of Gloria. Devoted father of Richard V. Jr., Kathleen Birnstill, Donna Ryerson and Karen Amundson. Loving grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 3. Arrangements were handled by the Casey Porrello Funeral Home in Howard Beach. A funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery. Donations in Brew’s memory may be made to our Lady of Grace Church.
