Man, Shot At, Smashes Car into daycare center

Police investigate the scene where a man who had had shots fired into his car smashed into Grandbee's Children's Village day care center located at 134-19 109th Avenue in Jamaica. According to authorities, the driver had been shot at and his 25-year-old passenger, identified as Stanley Pierre, was killed in the assault, which occurred at the corner of Lakewood Avenue and Remington Street. After the shots were fired, the driver raced off in an attempt to get his passenger to the hospital.
