“Innovative tile design can make a huge difference in a room,” says Joseph Pipitone, owner of Tiles Unlimited. Although Pipitone started Tiles Unlimited in 2004, he has years of experience in the tile industry.
The Pipitone family in fact made a name for themselves through the tile industry. Pipitone's father, Joe and Uncle Anthony, started in the tile industry in 1980, working for Glendale Tiles. After a few years with the company, the owner of Glendale Tiles approached the Pipitone brothers with an offer to buy the business - an opportunity which they took.
Pipitone worked with his father and uncle for a decade. He began in the warehouse at the age of 13; at 16, he earned himself a position in sales. By 19, the responsibilities of the family business rested on his shoulders. As he gained more experience, he decided it was time for him to open a business of his own.
“I had the experience and the clientele to open my own business,” said Pipitone. With Tiles Unlimited, Pipitone maintains a strong focus on customer satisfaction. When clients go to Tiles Unlimited, they can peruse a seemingly infinite selection of tiles in the showroom. Once they have selected the product, the client will then receive assistance in coordination with dcor, design and layout patterns and installation of the tiles.
