The Richmond Hill Block Association (RHBA) and the RHBA Civilian Patrol, in conjunction with Senator Serphin Maltese, Assemblymembers Nettie Mayersohn and Anthony Seminerio and Councilmember Dennis Gallagher, provided a Thanksgiving feast for the officers of the 102nd Precinct in Richmond Hill. RHBA board members prepared traditional thanksgiving dishes for the officers who were unable to spend this holiday at home with family and loved ones. Key Food donated a large turkey for the event and Manor Deli provided the dessert. This Thanksgiving tradition was started many years ago by Simcha Waisman, RHBA Vice-President and Civilian Patrol Leader. “This is our opportunity to say thank you to these officers who work so hard to protect our community, day-in and day-out, and on holidays” said Waisman.
