All Star Inauguration

First time Assemblymember Ellen Young was sworn in as the first Asian-American woman elected to the New York State Assembly on Sunday, January 7. Colleagues from all levels of government came to commemorate her swearing in as a new Assembly member from the 22nd A.D. of Queens. Young was joined by, among others, U.S. Senator Charles Schumer and Congressmember Gary Ackerman, who administered the oath of office.
