Magic Carpet is ready for summer fun

Magic Carpet is getting ready to board, and our destination is a summer of fun for boys and girls ages 4-14. Journey with us on our “treasure destinations” and experience a new and exciting adventure each day, with special events, sports, trips and swimming. This summer, our “flight plan” will take us to Adventureland, Fun Fusion, Fun Zone, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Strikes, bowling, and movies at North Shore Towers.
Weekly themes are bursting with exciting events like a carnival, costume party, an on site TV game show, Olympics, and other contests. Professional entertainment includes a puppet show and a live animal show and demonstration.
We are located in a quiet Bayside community, at The OLBS School, which is a beautiful, modern, air-conditioned facility complete with a gymnasium, lunchroom, stage and auditorium. Our outdoor site boasts a full block of outdoor play areas, courts and field.
Daily swimming and swimming instruction is given in two private, outdoor, full-size in-ground pools - one senior, one junior. Magic Carpet provides campers with both indoor and outdoor athletics. Basketball tournaments are a featured part of the program.
Arts & Crafts, music, dance and dance instruction are all part of the summer fun.
Door-to-door transportation, on-site lunch and snack, a T-shirt and tote bag are provided. Campers are supervised by a professional staff of administrators, teachers and counselors. Magic Carpet Day Camp will be in session from July 2 to August 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Extended hours are available from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at an extra fee. 2-8 week sessions are offered.
