Theatre workshop auditions

Auditions will be held for talented young performers ages 7 – 19 who have been enticed by the lights of Broadway and want to experience the fun and hard work that is show biz. Winners of the Saturday, April 14 auditions will be accepted into one of five summer performance companies of the Theatre Arts Center’s Summer Musical Theatre and Acting Workshops.
The four-week workshops are held at Queensborough Community College in Bayside. The organization’s Acting Ensemble begins June 25 and the Musical Theatre Workshop begins July 2.
The fruit of all the hard work will be public performances at the 800-seat Professional Performing Arts Center and the Shadow Box Theatre July 21 and 22, 28 and 29. Students interested in auditioning for the program should call 718-595-2905.
