According to the police, two Flushing residents, You Ying Chen, 49, and Chen Ming Hua, 55, were arrested and charged with promoting gambling.
They were taken into custody on June 16 at 8:55 p.m. at Chen’s house on Maple Avenue after an undercover police operation exposed illegal gambling operations, police said. The police have not revealed what the operations entailed.
