21st annual tribute to RDRC

The 21st annual tribute to the Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation (RDRC) was held at Russo’s on the Bay. The “Rockaway Means Business” Award recipients were Michelle A. Hankins and Ira Seplow; the “Joseph W. Stehn Community Service” Award was presented to Gerard Romski, Omar Ventegeat, Rashford Mendes, Rev. Leslie Mullings and Jeanne Mullgrav; the “Special Recognition” Award was given to Senator Malcolm Smith and Jacqueline Arrington of Citibank; and the “Hometown Hero” Award was presented to Jacqueline McMikle, and posthumously to NYPD Sgt. Angel Arcentales.
