Through a hands-on approach, Pro Motion Physical Therapy in South Ozone Park helps eliminate the pain that its customers feel.
Pro Motion first opened in South Ozone Park about six-and-a-half years ago. Owner and physical therapist Paul Elghazaly said that he knew it was a nice neighborhood and community, which is why the area was chosen as a location.
Elghazaly said that they treat many different kinds of pain, including post-surgery neurology conditions, work-related accidents and car-related accidents. He said that their specialties are orthopedic conditions and neck and back pain.
Pro Motion has clients from Queens as well as some from Brooklyn and Long Island. Elghazaly said they range in age from infants, to high school students, to senior citizens.
“Why should you live in pain? That’s basically our philosophy,” Elghazaly said. “There’s no reason to live in pain.”
Clients at Pro Motion are treated using personalized care and state-of-the-art exercise equipment. Elghazaly said that they are very hands-on with their patients, who are treated either by one of the owners or by the director of physical therapy.
For Elghazaly, the most rewarding part of his work is “seeing patients get better and get back to activities they thought they’d probably never get back to.”
Within the next year, Elghazaly said that Pro Motion will be launching a weight loss program along with a wellness program.
