Mary Elizabeth Moran

Mary Elizabeth Moran, 89, formerly of Jackson Heights, passed away on Saturday, July 28.
She was born in Ballinlough, County Roscommon, Ireland on October 8, 1917, the daughter of John and Brigid (Swift) Reynolds. Moran was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jackson Heights and a member of the Altar Rosary Society of the parish.
She was employed as an administrative assistant for Citibank of New York for 27 years, retiring in 1983.
She was married to William Moran, and he preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by one daughter, Ann (Ronald) Berg of Fairfield, Ohio; one brother, Patrick Reynolds; two sisters, Anne Clarke and Bridget Tully, all of Birmingham, England; and two grandchildren, Christopher A. Berg, Ph.D., of Carrollton, GA and Susan J. Berg of Chicago, IL.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder, Hamilton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mercy Franciscan at Schroder Employees Need Fund, 1302 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013 would be appreciated.
