Red Cross gives info at annual Family Day celebration

The American Red Cross in Greater New York - Queens provided emergency preparedness and hurricane safety information to more than 150 people who attended the annual Family Day celebration at Wayanda Park in Saint Albans on Saturday, August 11. The event was organized by City Councilmember Leroy Comrie (left). The Red Cross information was provided by Yesha Naik (right), coordinator of preparedness training for the Queens Red Cross area office, which is located at 138-02 Queens Boulevard in Briarwood.
