Joseph Owell

Joseph Owell of Kew Gardens passed away on September 17. He was 35 years old.
Loving husband of Elizabeth. Wonderful father of Justus and Ronan. Cherished son of Van Buren Howell and Jill Howell; much loved son-in-law of Patricia Cassin. Loving brother of Michael Howell and brother-in-law of Brian, Brendan and Kevin Cassin. Beloved grandson of Katherine Howell. Survived by many loving cousins, aunts and uncles. Owell was a creative associate for video game developer Rockstar Games, a division of Take Two Interactive. He was a staunch defender of civil rights and liberties, especially for the underprivileged.
A funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick’s Church in Glen Cove.
