High standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and profitability paid off for George Papagianopoulos of the G Papagianopoulos Agency in Forest Hills.
His agency has received the coveted Allstate Honor Ring award in recognition of their 2007 performance. For almost 60 years, the Honor Ring has been Allstate’s representation of exceptional achievement. This makes the G Papagianopoulos Agency one of the top Allstate agencies in the nation in auto, property and commercial insurance and financial service sales.
Papagianopoulos, 44, was introduced to the insurance field 20 years ago by a friend who worked for Met Life. He started his career in insurance at State Farm as an agent before coming to Allstate and successfully opened the doors to his own agency in 1997.
“My office runs mainly with phones and faxes, so I enjoy that I can be with my daughter and still be able to help my customers. I also have a complete office at home which means I’m pretty much always at work,” said the St. John’s University Business Administration graduate.
Papagianopoulos, two full-time employees and one financial representative make a point in getting to know each of their customers on a personal basis as a means to maintain positive community involvement. “Treat people the way you wish to be treated and you will never go wrong,” he said.
He hopes to expand the services they have been providing to the Spanish speaking market to other groups that have difficulty dealing with companies in English. With both of his staff members fluent in Spanish, a majority of his work now focuses on that market.
“It’s a tremendous honor to earn the Honor Ring. My agency’s commitment is to serve customers and we are pleased that the company has acknowledged our efforts,” said Papagianopoulos.
