Arrest In Bayside Racial Incident

A youth, while walking home from school at Bell Boulevard and 73rd Avenue, was approached by a 17-year-old male who said, “Look at the — Jews,” to which the victim said, “Why did you say that?”
The perpetrator, Peter Kim, then allegedly hit the victim with his cell phone, causing a laceration on his nose. In retaliation, the victim knocked the Kim to the ground. Kim then fled and was later arrested.
