A woman was attacked while walking home along the Long Island Expressway and 233rd Street on Monday, December 10.
An unknown, 5’ 10” inch male allegedly approached her from behind and tried to take her purse. The woman resisted and then the assailant pointed a gun at her. He fled in a black Ford Explorer with the woman’s purse and credit cards.
The Explorer was reported stolen in Suffolk County on the same day and the woman’s credit card was used at a Long Island Rail Road Station after the attack.
