A 16-year-old male was arrested by officers of the 111th Precinct after he allegedly tried to take his own mother’s purse using force.
According to cops, the perp was wearing a black mask and hoodie and was apprehended by witnesses. Upon removing the mask, it was discovered he was the victim’s son.

Police are searching for a man who allegedly held up the Chase Bank at 196-03 Northern Boulevard on Friday, April 25.
According to cops, the suspect, described as between 25 and 30 years old, passed the teller a note that read, “Please put all the money in the bag.” The bank employee then gave the perp $800, and he fled.
