After re-launching our web site to be the number one source of daily local information in the borough, queenscourier.com has swept away the competition, winning first-place awards for “Best Newspaper Website” and “Best Use of Multimedia” at this year’s New York Press Association (NYPA) Better Newspaper Contest.
As veterans in the newspaper business, we at The Queens Courier are pleased to have successfully ventured into the online journalism realm, but our mission is just beginning.
Over the past month, we have been updating queenscourier.com daily. Think of us as a daily news gathering organization that puts out a weekly print edition. Now you do not have to wait until Thursday to learn the latest news, read a new feature or flip through a spotlighted photo album.

We are proud of our accomplishments and the NYPA’s acknowledgement of our quality, but we are not slowing down.
