Argument Turns Violent

A verbal dispute between two males in a car and a group of men standing on the sidewalk escalated to an assault on June 25.
One of the men from the car was struck in the head with an object and was later taken to North Shore-Manhasset University Hospital. He is listed in critical condition with head trauma.
One of the men from the sidewalk unlawfully drove off with the car.
Simarjit Singh, 18, was arrested and charged with grand larceny auto. An investigation is still ongoing.
