Center for Women of New York holds annual dinner, conference

The Center for Women of New York is holding its annual dinner on Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Sheraton LaGuardia Hotel in Flushing followed by its World of Working Women Conference the next day.

Cheryl Wills, NY 1 News Anchor, will introduce U.S. Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-Astoria) and Deputy Mayor Denis Walcott at the dinner, which will honor state Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan (D-Ridgewood), among others.

Job seekers will be interviewed by recruiters at the World of Working Women job fair at the Sheraton LaGuardia Friday and can take part in both panel discussions and workshops.
