$20K stolen in Hollis Hills burglary: Police

HOLLIS HILLS — Nearly $20,000 was taken from a Hollis Hills home during a burglary, police said last Thursday.

The burglar struck a home on the 61st Avenue block of 217th Street between 1:30 p.m. and 11:38 p.m., police said. The burglar entered by forcing his way through the front door before taking $18,000 from the master bedroom, police said.
