The medical director is Dr. Mitchell Kaphan, founder of the Center for Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine in the Bronx. Dr. Kaphan has years of experience dealing with Workers’ Compensation, No-Fault and Personal Injury cases.
A native of the Bronx, Dr. Kaphan completed his medical training in Mexico and NY Medical College. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, a division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in 1984. After 21 years with the US Army Reserves, and 6 months active duty in Desert Storm, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He remains active with a Disaster Team from New York and the Medical Reserve Corps.
