Air Jamaica offering baggage deals

Enjoy the holiday season this year with Air Jamaica’s special Lovebird Economy Class and Executive Class deals on luggage.
Air Jamaica invites flyers to enjoy one of the most generous baggage deals in the industry. Air Jamaica passengers do not have to worry about paying extra fees when carrying up to two pieces of checked luggage when flying Lovebird Economy Class and up to three pieces of checked luggage when flying Lovebird Executive Class.
“We understand that passengers travel with additional items during the holiday season and want to make travel cost-efficient by continuing to allow free checked baggage,” said Air Jamaica Senior Director of Sales George deMercado. “Free checked baggage is another example of our Lovebird Hospitality making travel easier and more enjoyable.”
Nearly all passengers are allowed one piece of carry-on baggage weighing no more than 30 pounds with a maximum size of 45 inches. Those flying to or from Toronto have a weight restriction of no more than 22 pounds.
Passengers flying the Lovebird Economy Class receive two free pieces of checked baggage and the Lovebird Executive Class offers three free pieces of checked luggage weighing no more than 50 pounds with a maximum size of 62 inches.
Baggage that is within the free allowance, weighing more than 50 pounds but no more than 70 pounds, will be accepted at a charge. Those with overweight baggage are charged per piece and belongings will be accepted, subject to availability of space. Passengers wishing to carry more than three pieces of excess baggage and baggage weighing over 70 lbs. must send their pieces by Air Jamaica Cargo.
Passengers exceeding the free baggage allowance this holiday season will have the option to check up to three extra pieces at specified charges.
