Some Queens residents will get a special treat next week as three area Panera bake shops will give away free cups of its light and dark roast coffees as well as samples of its three grilled breakfast sandwiches.
The Panera locations in Glendale, Long Island City and Little Neck will run the promotion from the store’s opening through 8 p.m. so coffee lovers have many opportunities to try these new-flavored coffees and snacks.
“We have put the utmost care and attention into every detail of our new coffee - from selecting just the right coffee beans to roasting them in small batches to bring out the best in every bean,” said Scott Davis, Chief Concept Officer at Panera Bread. And, to ensure that each cup is of the highest quality and consistency, our coffee is brewed fresh each hour throughout the day. We think our new coffee is the perfect complement to our breakfast experience.”
For the past two years, Panera Bread has been working to perfect its two new coffee blends. The light roast coffee is a blend of some of the finest South and Central American beans, roasted lighter for a smooth, classic taste.
Meanwhile, the dark roast coffee gives customers with a completely different taste, another options. This dark roast is a blend of top Costa Rican beans, created for customers who prefer a robust, balanced, full-bodied coffee.
However, a breakfast isn’t complete with just a cup of coffee, so Panera is also offering free samples of a Strawberry Granola Parfait and grilled breakfast sandwiches. The new Strawberry Granola Parfait is made with Stonyfield Farm low-fat, organic vanilla yogurt, maple butter pecan granola with whole grain oats and fresh strawberries. Panera’s complete breakfast experience also includes egg souffl/s, pastries and freshly-baked bagels and breads.
