Glendale Volunteer Ambulance officers sworn in

The Glendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps (GVAC) recently held a ceremony to swear in their President, Ryan Gunning, and the new slate of executive officers.
The GVAC provides those in need of emergency medical treatment with prompt, efficient emergency care. They also transport the patients to nearby hospitals and work closely with city emergency personnel.
During the ceremony, former City Councilmember and community leader Anthony Como swore in the officers and praised them for their hard work.
“The members of the Glendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps are a shining example of ordinary citizens doing extraordinary things for their neighbors and community,” Como said. “Each day the men and women of GVAC put their personal safety on the line for their fellow neighbors and the betterment of our community.”
