The Queens Courier is proud to announce a new partnership this week that will complement and expand the newspaper’s online sports coverage at qns.com. Online readers will now be able to watch high-quality video highlights of many of the high school games The Courier covers every week, available at no charge and right on queenscourier.com.
The move comes through a partnership with PlayPusher, a high school recruit-video specialist that has filmed high school sports events across the tri-state area for three years running. It makes The Courier the first and only Queens publication to offer video sports coverage on its website. These videos will be in addition to The Queens Courier’s award-winning video content.
“This is the most in-depth high school sports coverage ever introduced,” said Peter Esposito, founder and CEO of PlayPusher. “Not only will games be covered by an award-winning paper, but the online articles will show highlights and link to the full-game video. The cumulative effect is players, parents, and coaches can hit www. Queenscourier.com for an ESPN.com-type report, and then a link is present to view the full-game video at PlayPusher.com.”
“We would like to grow together as we create the ultimate synergistic relationship for high school athletes, parents, coaches, and college coaches,” Esposito said.
The PlayPusher partnership is part of a dramatic expansion in online coverage at The Courier. Readers can now purchase high-quality versions of the award-winning sports photographs that appear in the newspaper, as well as view video news reports.
The Courier’s website can be accessed at qns.com.
