Man allegedly stabbed to death by girlfriend

A 36-year-old woman has been arrested and charged for allegedly stabbing her 56-year-old boyfriend to death on February 7.
Vernice Esprit allegedly stabbed Harry Menard in the torso in their home on 225th Street near Linden Boulevard. He was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital, where he died. Esprit has been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
