In honor of President Abraham Lincoln’s 200th anniversary, actor David Houston presented “an original portrait of our most literary president, from Lincoln’s writings and speeches, which portray a witty and wise statesman who speaks to us as if he lives today and understands our most pressing, confusing and amusing concerns” on Wednesday, February 18.
Houston has appeared in shows such as “Romeo and Juliet,” “Forum,” “The Music Man,” “The Dresser,” “The Little Foxes,” and “Death of a Sales.” He is also a director and author.
Along with his dramatic reading for Lincoln, Houston also does such readings as Charles Dickens and Mark Twain.
