Valentine’s Day may be long over, but don’t put away that red outfit just yet.
The American Heart Association’s 2nd Annual Queens Go Red for Women Luncheon will be held on Thursday, June 4, at Russo’s on the Bay. It will bring together a diverse group of Queen’s top business and community leaders, and attendees will learn more about living a heart- healthy life style
Karen Nicole Joyner, Chief Executive Officer of Emerald E & S, Inc., is the Luncheon Committee Chair. This year’s Luncheon emcee will be Odalys Molina, reporter for Spanish-language TV station Telemundo 47.
The program will include two heart healthy workshops, beginning at 9:45 a.m. The first, “Effective Ways to Reduce Your Risk of Heart Disease,” will be led by top medical and health professionals from the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. “Body & Soul,” discusses nourishment for a heart-healthy lifestyle.
Networking, luncheon and raffle, etc. begin immediately after the workshops, from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The luncheon will also include a Keynote address by Ann Liguori, golf and tennis correspondent for WFAN Radio.
