LAGUARDIA AIRPORT — A Florida man was arrested last week after he tried to bring a loaded gun on a flight out of LaGuardia Airport, the Queens district attorney said.
Thomas Molloy, 28, of Miami, Fla., was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree after he allegedly declared a pistol for a pre-flight baggage check-in at the Delta Airline counter in LaGuardia Airport, the DA said.
A Delta worker told police he found a loaded 40-caliber pistol and a pistol magazine containing 11 rounds of ammunition inside a gun case in Molloy’s suitcase, according to the DA.
