adds health
records course

Bramson ORT College has a special reason to celebrate this year – it has been awarded a $5,000 grant by Verizon.
The money will fund the development and implementation of the school’s Electronic Health Records course. This is in conjunction with new computer literacy courses being offered.
Bramson ORT College’s Computer Technology, Electronics Technology and Medical Departments impressed Verizon officials because of extensive work with students within a diverse community, and the company has contributed more than $45,000 in grants in the past few years.
Bramson ORT College is part of ORT, a non-profit organization, operating a worldwide network of schools and training centers in more than 60 countries, serving more than 300,000 students. Bramson ORT College is located at 69-30 Austin Street in Forest Hills.
It offers exciting programs to prepare students for the changing demands of the job market. New computer and medical labs enhance the learning experience. Distance Learning is also available. The job placement rate is over 80 percent. Faculty members have strong educational backgrounds and professional expertise.
