Last week for our hospital toy drive

While Santa is busy at the North Pole making his list and checking it twice, The Queens Courier is entering into its final week of collecting gifts for the kids at Schneider Children’s Hospital. We have already collected a number of gifts, but we really need help from you, our readers and our advertisers, to make this holiday season special for the hundreds of children at Schneider Children’s Hospital.

There is still time to bring gifts to our office, located at 38-15 Bell Boulevard in Bayside, and we are providing a full list of gift suggestions below.

Schneider Children’s Hospital is a teaching hospital in New Hyde Park that provides comprehensive care for children ranging in age from infants to young adults. The hospital has 154 beds, and kids receive treatment for everything from childhood diseases to cancer and epilepsy. The majority of the children at the hospital are infants to three-years-old and teenagers, so toys, books, games and even gift cards are great ideas.

You can bring NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts up to our office through Tuesday, December 15, so that we can deliver them to the children before Christmas.
