The police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an individual wanted in connection with a violent robbery and attempted sexual assault.
On Sunday, December 13, at 42nd Street and 30th Avenue, a woman was exiting the 31st Street subway station when the suspect grabbed and then threw her to the ground. He forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone and then attempted to sexually assault her before fleeing on foot.
The perp is described as a male Hispanic, 5’6″ tall, approximately 165 pounds, wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
