Corona man threatens girl’s life with knife: DA

CORONA — A Corona man was charged with allegedly threatening to kill a girl with a knife at his home earlier this month, the Queens district attorney said.

Jesus Lopez, 59, allegedly ran toward a girl with a kitchen knife and said he was going to murder her on the afternoon of Jan. 5, according to the DA.

The girl’s two younger brothers, ages 10 and 6, witnessed the fight, the DA said.

Lopez was charged with menacing, criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment, they said.
