I really wish that the Accuweather forecasters, both on the web site and on WABC News, would stop all of their blustering and blowing about the severity of the cold and storms for this winter season.
To begin with, up until December 16, temperatures were at or above normal for this region. Even though we received a snowfall on the 19 and 20, with several days of cold temperatures, December still averaged out at normal to slightly above normal temperature wise.
Jeff Smith predicted the potential for a huge snowstorm for Friday January 8. Then Lee Goldberg predicted just a coating to an inch or two for Friday morning.
Please stick to 1-2 day predictions – we do not need your hyped up weather hysteria.
