The Bronx man who pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography after being arrested for impersonating a law enforcement official outside a Corona karaoke bar will spend more than a year behind bars, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said Friday.

Eddy Cepedahiciano, 24, was sentenced to between 1 1/2 and three years in prison by Queens Supreme Court Judge Joseph Zayas last Thursday. Police found child pornography on his iPod touch while he was in custody.

A sexual offender hearing will be conducted after the defendant completes his prison sentence to determine his risk level, Brown said. Cepedahiciano is already registered as a Level II Sex Offender for performing a sexual act with a 15-year-old girl.

On May 30, Cepedahiciano was urinating outside Estrella Latina, a restaurant and karaoke bar at 39-07 104th St. When the restaurant’s bouncer approached him and told him to stop, Cepedahiciano flailed his arms and said he was an FBI agent and would shut down the place and have him arrested.

Cepedahiciano then flashed a miniature NYPD shield and a set of handcuffs and again threatened to arrest him.

After Cepedahiciano was arrested and processed, police learned he was on probation in the Bronx as a result of a sex offense conviction in Queens County and was registered as a Level II sex offender.

They searched his iPod and found more than 25 sexually explicit images of children between the ages of 2 and 15.

Cepedahiciano was sentenced in June 2009 for violating the terms of his probation for the earlier sex offense. His child pornography sentence will be carried out in conjunction with the one to three years he is serving for that crime.

“Each of the 25 images stored on the defendant’s iPod represents the victimization of an innocent child,” Brown said. “Today’s sentencing to incarceration sends a strong message that this violation of the youngest members of our society will not be tolerated.”
