JAMAICA — A Long Island woman was arrested last week after allegedly hitting her husband with a car and driving away from the scene on 225th Street in Jamaica, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
Suprine Hoglund, 39, was charged with assault and leaving the scene of the March 23 incident without reporting it, according to the DA.
Hoglund had been speaking with her husband as he stood outside the vehicle when she pulled away from him, made a U-turn and allegedly struck him with her Ford vehicle, Brown said.
Her husband said the incident caused him substantial pain, bruising to his torso and his shirt to be ripped, according to the DA.
